Working with Small Spaces

When working in a small space don't be afraid to use larger scale items. My favorite thing to do is lay larger tiles in small spaces and always lay them on the diamond. It allows the eye to move through the space by following the tips of the tiles to each thing they lead. The larger scale just makes the area seem much bigger than it is.
