Design Advice

  • When framing a print, use a matt that is not a dominant color in the print. This will bring the subject matter of the print to “life”.

  • When cleaning carpets, you really only have to use hot water. Soapy cleansers leave behind a residue that attracts dirt faster.

  • Textured walls are hard to maintain due to chipping of the plaster and faux finishes cannot be touched up easily. Wallpaper and fabric padded walls are making a comeback.

  • Do not over accessorize. If too cluttered, nothing will stand out and be noticed. Use small groupings that have some connection to each other.
