  • Design with scale - The size of a room will dictate how space relates to the size and shape of the items that are appropriate. Large rooms require large objects, items that provoke innovation and interest. Small rooms capture more intimate items or objects of feeling and offering comfort to a Collector's Space.
  • Assess with photography - If you are uncertain of the amount of clutter in a room, use your camera. Photography is unforgiving to clutter and will be revealed immediately. Remember, less is sometimes more.
  • Consider your space before you determine placement of art and accessories. Avoid purchasing dark items for a dark space. Create contrast by restoring lightness into darkness. You will appreciate how these synergies enhance your space.
