ART MEDIUM:
Photography
ARTIST'S STATEMENT:
Digital photography (both cameras and archival ink jet printing) has given me new freedom as a photographer. But I'm still enamored of shapes and light.
ARTIST'S BIOGRAPHY:
I studied chemistry at St Olaf College… but eventually earned a PhD in economics from the U of Colorado. I, then, moved into TV news (as a photographer-reporter.) In semi-retirement from TV news, I'm now concentrating on fine art still photography.
CURRENT WORK:
Fine art still photography.
CAREER BACKGROUND:
Economics and statistics professor; TV News photographer/reporter 1979-present.
