ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Bonnie Blue is an artist of many various talents. She has owned and operated Blue's Restorations for 30 years. Bonnie has received many awards for her work. The 1995 edition of "Professional Photographers Best in the World" featured one of Bonnie's restoration masterpieces. She has taught and been key speaker at numerous photo conventions around the country. Blues Restorations was the first restoration company in Houston to go digital. Her company offers color and black and white restorations, photo oil paintings of loved ones…in-house lab.
But there is yet another side to this multi-talented artist. She is an accomplished & award winning Houston Art-Car artist. Bonnie created the "Women Rock ArtCar" in 2001. Since its creation she has traveled many states all over the country to festivals and artcar parades. The car won 2nd place in 2003 in Houston, 1st place in Kentucky in 2005, and 1st place trophy in the 2006 Houston artcar parade. Bonnie has been featured on two front cover newspapers in Rockport and Marble Falls, Texas. In addition to her artcar, Bonnie has created "Women That Rock". They are one of a kind creations on Texas River Rocks to resemble women's faces. She also does personalized rocks that she calls "People That Rock" She does the same technique on barstools calling them personalized barstools. Bonnie also paints rock stars such as Elvis, John Lennon, Willie Nelson, Frida Kahlo, etc. In addition to her art, she also does large canvas paintings of women as part
of her "Women That Rock" theme. And if that is not enough, Bonnie also does girl's birthday parties. She facilitates 8 to 10 girls to paint their own women that rock. A personalized rock of a birthday girl, a ride in women rock artcar, and a caricature of each girl at the party. Bonnie Blue and her fabulous women rock artcar are available for private parties, festivals, etc.
